As Huron-Perth remains in the orange and the risk of moving to red looms, public health is advising residents to take safe practices over the holidays.
Businesses and places of worship have been working closely with HPPH to plan out events over the holidays to keep the community as safe as possible. Public health is also recommending you only celebrate the holidays to those within your household, opting for virtual gatherings with extended family in other regions.
Those with family in higher level regions should avoid traveling to those areas such Toronto which is currently in lockdown. Those returning home such as students in college or university should isolate from others for 14 days before making any trips home and limit their contact to those within the home.
Huron-Perth is reminding residents of the basic protocols to always follow, washing your hands, wearing a mask, practicing social distancing and staying home if you’re sick.
