Vaccinations administered in Huron-Perth continue to rise.
The region now has reached over 13,500 doses. Thursday saw a milestone in the region with 1000 appointments booked.
Dr. Miriam Klassen says the region is on track and has expanded the priority list to Indigenous persons 16 years and older and faith leaders who are at increased risk of exposure when involved with ceremonies involving end of life care and the deceased.
Dr. Klassen also saying with Easter coming around, we can’t loosen ourselves to current restrictions.
“The safest way to celebrate Easter this year again continues to be with members of your own household or virtually.” said Dr. Klassen
The booking system for the new priority list is open can be done online from Huron-Perth Public Health’s website.
