Huron Perth Moved to Orange “Restrict” Level

Huron Perth has 48 active cases of COVID-19

 

Huron-Perth as of 12:01am has been moved to the Orange “Restrict” level on the provincial COVID-19 chart as set by the Ontario government.

Dr. Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health says “To protect our most vulnerable members and our healthcare capacity, it’s critical that we stop the community spread across Huron and Perth. Things can change quickly, so we need to be vigilant now to flatten the curve of this second wave.”

Social gatherings are limited to 10 indoors, 25 outdoors. Public events and gatherings are set to 50 indoor, 100 outdoors with religious services, weddings and funerals to 30% capacity indoors, 100 outdoors.

Huron-Perth currently has 48 active cases of COVID-19 as the outbreak at Cedarcroft Retirement Place continues.
