If you’re looking for a home in the region, the Huron-Perth Association of Realtors says there’s plenty to go around.
Housing sales totaled 180 units last month, a gain of 7.1 per cent from the same time last year.
On a year to date basis sales reached 543 units over the first four months year, a leap of 12.7 per cent from 2023.
The benchmark price of a home was $568,100 in minor increase of 1.7 per cent with the average price selling for $628,478, a drop of 3.2 per cent from April last year.
Prices were up from a month ago which saw March be under $600,000 for the average price of a home in region.
There was also no shortage of listings with 351 new listings last month, the largest seen in over a decade.
