The union for the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance staff say the way hospital employers and Premier Doug Ford have treated them is unsatisfactory.
This has led to employees which include registered practical nurses, personal support workers and environmental cleaners taking part in rally in Seaforth on Thursday.
A rally will also take place this morning at 11:30 in Stratford.
The union says Bill 124, a provincial bill restricts employees to a wage less than 1/3 of the rate of inflation which is also impacting workers for an increase to mental health support.
Talks aren’t expecting to pick up until sometime in September.
