The Ontario government updated the status of the possible return to in-person learning for students.
They have green lit 7 areas that will be able to reopen as of Monday.
They are:
- Grey Bruce Health Unit
- Haliburton, Kawartha
- Pine Ridge District Health Unit
- Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Health Unit
- Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Health Unit
- Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit
- Peterborough Public Health Renfrew County and District Health Unit
Huron Perth and Wellington County were not on the list.
This means that distance learning will continue in Huron Perth and Upper Grand District School Board areas.
The Government will revisit the issue on February 1st.
