Huron-Perth AG Science Centre Looking for Board Members

Board members to help volunteer to plan ahead for the science centre

Progress continues to look great to bring an AG Science Centre in North Perth. As plans to get the science centre continues, board members are being accepted to join the team to volunteer.

Jillian Lewis, Chair of the Committee guiding the development of the science centre says some of the things they hope to have with the science centre.

“Hands on learning, we’ll have programming, we’ll have exhibits, some will be permanent some will be rotating so things stay fresh. We’re really going to look at what the needs of the community are.” said Lewis.

Residents interested in being a board member can fill an application from their website or reach out from Facebook.

Experience in financing, event planning, community leadership, public relations and communications are welcome bonuses.
