Huron OPP investigating theft of tires from near Gorrie

Value of the farm vehicle tires is estimated at $4,000

Huron County OPP officers are investigating a break, enter and theft of tires from a business located near Gorrie.

On July 19th Huron OPP responded to the business on Harriston Road to investigate a break, enter and theft from an on-site storage trailer.

The person responsible cut the security lock to the trailer and once inside stole several new farm vehicle tires.

The stolen tires are described as:

  • 4 – Galaxy Marathoner tires.
  • 2 – BKT Agrimax 480/70r34 tires
  • 1 – Mitas size 520/85R38 tire

Value of the stolen tires is estimated at $4,000.

Police believe it occured between July 14th and 19th.
