Huron County OPP responded to a call in Exeter late on Saturday.
Officers who were on the scene determined an assault had taken place and the accused had caused damage to the residence.
As a result of investigation, a 51 year old from Sauble Beach faces multiple charges including Assault and Mischief.
The accused was released from custody and given a future court date.
