Huron Hospice Goes to Council for Grant Match

The Huron Hospice has gone to council for matching financial assistance.

At last weeks meeting officials from the Hospice appeared before council
asking for $565,000 dollars for additions and renovations. The money
would equal a grant they have already received from the province.

The goal is to double the number of beds, and build a children’s play room
among other things. A staff report is expected in a couple of weeks.
