Huron East is moving forward on demolishing the Winthrop Park Community Pavilion.
In a release the municipality says the pavilion condition has reached a point beyond repair and their priority has always been the safety and well being of community members and recent inspections have found structural issues pose significant risks.
The municipality sends their gratitude to those who have contributed to the pavilions legacy over the years and the stories, memories and experiences will forever be cherished as they honour the past and look forward to the future.
