Huron County Warden “Don’t Forget About the Homeless”

Huron Out of the Cold running since November 16th

The new Warden of Huron County, Glen McNeil is asking residents to think of those without a home this holiday season.

Huron Out of the Cold has been open since November 16th at the Lakeshore United Church in Goderich, giving homeless a place to stay to escape the cold, a hot meal and provide addiction service to those in need. McNeil saying in a press release, its the great work of volunteers who keep it the spirits high and contributions are always greatly appreciated.

If you wish to donate to Out of the Cold, new items such as hygiene products like soapm shampoo, toothbrushes and deodorant are accepted at any Huron County Library Branch.

Gently used items such as clothing, outerwear and towels can be dropped off at the Goodwill Community Store & Donation Centre in Goderich or Salvation Army Thrift Store in Goderich.
