Ontario’s West Coast is launching Taste Trails, a new guide to help explore Huron County’s local food.
The kickoff of the Taste Trail and Field to Fork Map helps invite residents and visitors to learn more about the county’s rich food culture and agricultural abundance.
The Field to Fork Map helps people connect directly with local food and beverage producers.
Vicki Lass, Director of Economic Development for Huron County says the map makes it easier to support local food and meet the people who grow and make it.
A Taste Trails Event on June 21st will help celebrate the launch taking place at nine participating farm and retail locations in the county.
Participating locations include:
- Bayfield Lavender Farm
- Capella Meadows
- Eat Local Huron
- Bonus stop – Goderich BIA Farmers’ Market
- Grazing Meadows Wagyu
- Lavendar Works Co.
- Meeting Place Organic Farm
- Morrison Berries
- Ruetz Country Market
- Bonus stop – The Tart Shack
- Weth Mushrooms
