Huron County’s Starter Company Plus enrollment opens up next week.
The program helps provide business training, coaching, mentor ship and an opportunity to be awarded a grant of up to $5000 for eligible participants to start expand or buy a small business.
The program has been popular and highly competitive with receives dozens of applications each year.
The application period opens up July 1st and will wrap up July 31st.
Applicants will be required to participate in a brief interview and successful candidates will be notified by mid-August.
Business coaching and mentor ship parts of the program will take place from September-November.
