There has been an increase of impaired drivers in Huron County again for the year.
From 2021, 102 drivers were charged with impaired operation, up from 93 in 2020.
A report from OPP says 41 per cent of impaired driving charges also included a collision with two being fatal and 63 per cent of charges being as a result from tips from the public.
23 per cent of drivers were impaired by a drug which saw the busiest month of impaired operation being November with 15 charges and the lowest in May with 3.
One third of the drivers charged were not residents of Huron County.
