The winners have been announced for Huron County’s Accessibility Awards.
Carol Leeming has been named the Sandra Thompson Memorial Accessibility Champion with Carol being a life long resident of the county who in 2019 took the role of HCAAC Accessibility Coordinator, being held until 2023.
Central Huron took home the Public Award of Merit for Accessibility Programming, The Riverview Eatery grabbed the Business Award of Merit for Barrier Free Design and ACW township was awarded the Public Merit Award of Merit for Barrier Free Design.
