The Humane Society of Stratford-Perth is turning to the public for support to help repair damage caused from the past winter.
The Humane Society says given the amount of snowfall over the season the outdoor dog runs in Stratford were badly damaged as well as the heating exhaust system and outside duct work.
The heavy amounts of snow also caused the dog run roof to collapse and has left the space unsafe for dogs and while insurance has covered some costs the Humane Society is still left with $10,000 in repair costs.
The Humane Society says if anyone is able to donate, it would be appreciated to help them get the dog run back in condition.
