Humane Society Offering Program for Highschool Students

Program allows students to get volunteer hours while acting as a foster

 

The Stratford-Perth Humane Society is offering a unique foster program for highschool students in Perth County and to earn volunteer hours.

The foster program will place cats and other small animals in the care of students until they can be adopted. Currently students attending high school in Stratford surrounding Perth County are eligible to be part of the program.

Students will be interviewed and need to provide two letters of reference.

Those who are accepted to the program will receive free training and all the things they need to take care of their foster pets such as food and vet care.
