The Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford Perth has launched an urgent appeal campaign to raise funds for a one year old cat needing emergency surgery to have one of her limbs removed.
Blossom came into the care of staff in poor condition having found an old injury which was left untreated for too long.
Blossom went into surgery on Tuesday to have her front left leg amputated and its estimated medical and care costs will be up to $4000 by the time Blossom is ready for adoption.
Following surgery Blossom will head into foster care before being set up for adoption.
Anyone wanting to show their support is asked to donate towards the urgent appeal.
