The Stratford-Perth Humane Society is making an urgent plea to find a hospice home for a nine year old dog with cancer.
Maisy came into the care of the humane society in May as a stray with a variety of problems including an ear infection and several masses on her body.
Following two surgeries she was tested and confirmed to have cancer.
Despite living with cancer, Maisy remains a sweet and friendly girl who adores affection. She continues to be comfortable, happy and thriving.
Amanda Hawkins, Senior Manager of Animal Care says Maisy’s days are limited but they can’t be too sure for how long and are looking for a home to spend her remaining days.
