In time for the spring, the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth is hosting a special Shelter Spring Adoption Event.
The adoption event taking place April 5th and 6th will have both centres welcome everyone for a walk in adoption event offering $100 off for adoption fees for adult dogs.
Amanda Hawkins, Senior Manager of Animal Care for the Humane Society says many of the long term resident dogs have been waiting for months to find the perfect family.
The humane society adds they are eager to connect pets with their perfect match.
