Huron Perth Public Health resamples Lake Huron beaches today due to results earlier in the week showing high E.coli levels, which could result in unsafe swimming conditions.

The beaches being resamples are Ashfield Twp Park, Port Albert, and Goderich Main and Rotary Cove.

Huron Perth Public Health tests beach water for unsafe bacteria, and when levels of E.coli are higher than the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, an advisory of high bacteria would be released with recommendations not to swim.

HPPH says that the test results should be available tomorrow.
