HPPH holding Grand 7 Vaccination Clinics across Huron Perth

Clinics provide routine Grade 7 vaccines including Meningococcal vaccine required to attend school

 

Huron Perth Public Health announced today that they are holding vaccination clinics for Grade 7 students across Huron Perth to provide the routine grade 7 vaccines.

Meningococcal, Hepatitis B and Human Papillomavirus or HPV. The Meningococcal vaccine is required for school attendance.

Students need 2 doses of both the Hep B and HPV vaccines in order to be fully protected from the viruses.

Current Grade 7 students as well as youth who were in Grade 7 last year, who need to complete their 2 dose series may attend one of these clinics.

Due to Covid-19 HPPH is holding community clinics this year in place of usual school-based ones.

Clinics will be:

  • Saturday, October 23rd at Goderich Memorial Arena from 9 until 2
  • Monday, October 25th at the St. Marys Pyramid Rec Centre from 2 until 7pm
  • Tuesday, October 26th in Wingham at the Knights of Columbus Centre from 2 until 7
  • Saturday, October 30th at the Stratford Rotary Complex from 9 until 2.
