The Huron-Perth Health Alliance received recognition for their efforts in organ and tissue donation from the province. HPHA received the Provincial Conversion Rate Award for their care for the 2019-2020 year.
The Health Alliance is one of 30 hospitals to be awarded the Trillium Gift of Life Network Achievement Award.
In Huron-Perth, the donor registration rates greatly exceed the average in the province with St Mary’s registration rate at 58 percent, Stratford with 52 percent, South Bruce and Huron at 45 percent and Perth County at 44 percent.
