The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is holding a health fair at the Stratford General Hospital today, educating on stroke awareness.
Going from 1:30-3pm, members of the Huron-Perth District Stroke Program will provide free screening and information around stroke awareness.
This will mark Stroke Awareness Month, raising awareness round stroke, promoting the early recognition of symptoms and support research and patient care.
Joanna Smorhay, Manager of the Huron Perth District Stroke Program and Stratford Dialysis Unit says During the Fair, participants can also get their blood pressure checked and learn about the treatments for stroke.
