After many requests from residents, the Howick operations manager has recommended council a plan to change all yield signs in the township.
Yield signs in Howick will be changed to stop signs.
In order to streamline the process, Operations Manager, Brady Nolan suggested to council to pass a bylaw to change the yield signs located at the intersections of William Street and Mary Street as well as Brookhaven Drive and Victoria Street in Fordwich.
Most of the requests have been from residents who live on streets with yield signs, which residents are saying most people are not following the rules of the signs.
Council voted in support to change yield signs to stop signs.
