As part of the provincial reopening plan, swimming pools have been given the green light to open.
Brady Nolan, Operations Manager for Howick says it should be possible to offer the public swimming pool similar to how it was done last year. In 2020, the Howick pool was open for public swims, have private rentals and offer swimming lessons.
Much like last year, a pre-booked basis will also be adopted. Anyone looking to swim during public hours must book ahead either online or by phone.
Nolan adding not only can bringing back public swims in Howick bring much positivity to the area but also some positive financial impact.
