The Wellington County OPP with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshall have concluded an investigation into a suspicious house fire on North Water Street West in Mount Forest last September.
As a result a 45 year old male of Mount Forest has been charged with arson both for disregard for human life and damage to property, as well as possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court.
One occupant of the home was sent to hospital at the time of the fire with minor injuries.
