With HOPE Links now launched in North Perth at 295 Main Street where the Christ Anglican Church is, those in need are being welcomed to the site.
HOPE Links offers those in need with certain services such as a hot meal, a shower, access to laundry facilities and building social ties and trust with volunteers, staff and additional social services.
Executive Director for United Way Perth Huron Ryan Erb says its the support from everyone for this project which has made it a success across the region.
“Generosity needs to be noted, its just exceptional the way people have supported this program and project. This is the third centre that United Way has been involved in opening like HOPE Links across the region of Perth and Huron and we have a 4th planned in Wingham coming this fall.” said Erb.
