The Chief of the Hanover Police Christopher Knoll announced today on social media that an honest citizen in their community had found $4500 in an envelope and turned it in.
Shortly thereafter the owner of the lost cash turned up at police headquarters and was shocked when officers reunited them with their cash.
The Chief closes by thanking the finder for their honesty and integrity.
