High End Theft Attempted at Stratford Walmart

Suspect fled store and left in Red Toyota Corolla when confronted

 

On Saturday, September 4, 2021 shortly before 9:30pm staff at Walmart in Stratford observed a customer engaged in suspicious activity in the store.

The customer was observed loading a large amount of high end electronics into a cart, while walking through the store randomly selecting other high value items.

The customer was stopped by Store Loss Prevention staff as he attempted to leave the store without paying for any of the items.

The customer left the items behind when confronted and fled the store, getting into a red Toyota Corolla which was being driven by a second unknown suspect.

The man is described as a male in his early 20’s, light brown complexion, short black hair, heavy black eyebrows and dark eyes, and a slim build.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black zippered hoody, black pants and green collared shirt.
