The Board of Directors and Staff of the Hensall Co-Op announced the recipients of their 2nd Annual Hensall Co-Op Strong Communities Initiative grants today.
There were two awards announced, one for Tiger Mountain Pool out of Treherne, Manitoba and the Stratford General Hospital Foundation.
They will both receive $10,000 with the money locally going towards Hospital Beds for the Surgery Unit. This grant will cover the cost of one of the state-of-the-art Hill-Rom beds.
The Hensall Co-Op Strong Communities Initiative provides a one-time grant to projects that fill a strong need in the community and priority is given to Community Health & Healthy Living.
