A youth led public art project is helping transform the Henry Street Tunnel in West Perth.
The project is a partnership between Mitchell District High School, Perth County, Youth Unlimited YFC Tricity and the West Perth heritage and Culture Committee.
This comes after council on April 7th approved a new public street art policy.
A mix of artwork and graffiti work will be done on the tunnel and receive a thoughtful refresh.
On June 13th, student artists will be working to paint a background over inappropriate markings while preserving and integrating existing meaningful art.
