A team of nine healthcare workers have touched down in Toronto from Newfoundland & Labrador to assist Ontario and treat its COVID-19 patients.
The healthcare workers are in Ontario to help Toronto in its hardest hitting hospitals with COVID-19 patients.
The group of three doctors and six critical care nurses arrived in a Canadian Forces Hercules aircraft Tuesday afternoon and are the first of the provinces call for more than 600 healthcare professionals.
