The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is welcoming students from Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry who will begin learning and training under the healthcare alliance for Discovery Week, marking 25 years of the partnership.
The medical students on placement began with the partnership between the Healthcare Alliance and Schulich Medicine out of Western University.
All first year medical students take part in immersive one week placements in health care settings across Southwestern Ontario.
Medical students in the provided health care settings will help future physicians caring for residents but also become part of the community.
