The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance has made changes to its family and caregiver visiting guidelines.
Inpatients will be able to have unlimited daily visitors with a maximum of 2 at a time between the hours of 8am to 8pm with the exception for Maternal Child partners.
Those approaching end of life can have family or caregivers present with the patient 24/7 with a number at bedside determined on the ability to physically distance though generally is no more than two at a time.
Arrangements can also be made for outdoor visiting where a patient is receiving care and can be safely transported by their supporting person.
Active screening for COVID-19 continues to remain in effect at hospitals.
