Nearing the end of May, the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance has been taking time to recognize Speech and Hearing Month.
Taking on this years theme “Access Changes Everything” the Speech Language Pathologists and Communicative Disorders Assistants of smallTalk have been working to ensure access across four domains including Connection, Learning, Culturally Safe Care and Rural and Remote Care.
The team took a day with Vicki Wiebe from the Huron Perth Centre discussing mental health resources and referral pathways to better support clients in need of support.
