Health Unit looking for dog involved in biting incident in Stratford

Incident happened near the path to the Art Gallery between upper and lower Queens Park in Stratford

 

Huron Perth Public Health is looking for a dog and it’s owner involved in a biting incident near the path to the Art Gallery between upper and lower Queens Park in Stratford.

The incident took place on Friday, February 26th at approximately 8:30pm.

The dog involved in the incident is described as a large dog that looked like a German Shepherd. It was running off leash and was accompanied by a man wearing a hat and face mask.

HPPH is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. This information is vital to managing the treatment of the child who was bitten.
