Local healthcare workers from around the Region repeated their demonstration in from of the Perth-Wellington Stratford Office of MPP Randy Pettapiece yesterday morning to repeat their call for Bill 124 to be repealled.
The bill effectively put a cap on public-sector workers salaries and the rally was organized by the CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions.
Many similar demonstrations are planned for across Ontario this week which they say prevents personal support workers, nurses and other health care workers from being able to honestly negotiate.
