Health Canada issues recall for teether, quick setting epoxy and certain models of car booster seats

Products were sold at Hudson's Bay, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware and Toys R US

 

Health Canada has issued major recalls this week involving more than 90 thousand items.

One is at Hudson’s Bay for a Battat B. Toy glowing plastic infrant teether in the shape of a blue, green and red smiling fireflight character named Firefly Frank. SKU number for the product is BX1653.

The wings can become detached including breaking into pieces posing a choking hazard.

Canadian Tire is recalling Armor Coat Quick setting epoxy adhesive in 28 point 4 ml red syringes.

The products recalled are ARMOR COAT Quick Setting Epoxy Adhesive in a dual-cartridge 28.4 mL red syringe in black, white and yellow packaging.

The back card contains the model number, UPC and a Trileaf Distribution logo.

This recall also involves HOMEBOND Quick Setting 5 minute Epoxy, HOMEBOND Quick Setting 90 Second Extra Fast Setting Epoxy, HOMEBOND 5 Minute Quick Setting Epoxy for Metal and HOMEBOND 4 hour Super Strength Epoxy.

The affected products are the dual-cartridge 28.4 mL red, black or blue syringes in red, yellow, blue and /or grey packaging.

The back card contains the model, UPC code and the Home Hardware logo.

The product does not meet labelling or child resistant packaging requirements.

And finally Toys R Us is recalling certain models of Diono booster car seats.

There are certain seats made between September and November of last year that do not confirm to safety standards.
