OPP have charged one person as a result of a fatal collision near Hillsburgh on Sunday.
Police responded just after 6:15pm to the crash between a pickup truck and hatchback on Wellington Road 22 near Trafalgar Road. As a result of the collision, a 31 year old was taken to hospital where they later died.
The driver of the hatchback was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation, the driver of the hatchback a 25 year old of Hillsburgh has been charged with Impaired Driving, Dangerous Operation Causing Death and driving with a blood alcohol content over the legal limit.
The accused will appear in Guelph court on August 11th.
