Fall means a lot of things. Cooler weather, plaid and jeans, turkey and pumpkin pie. It also means its harvesting season. Residents are reminded to slow down and keep your distance as farming equipment will be around the roads.
As Tim Halliday, President of the Perth County Federation of Agriculture says, just take your time. Everyone will arrive safely
“We just remind everybody to be cautious of equipment on the roads and be prepared to take a little bit more time to get to where you need to be and everyone will arrive there safely” said Halliday.
Residents are simply asked to just sit back and enjoy the scenery of the season and share the road with our local farmers.
