Huron County OPP have charged a Harriston resident with impaired driving following a crash this weekend just east of Gorrie.
On Saturday November 6th at around 9:13pm, OPP responded to a report of a vehicle of fire on Harriston Road near Mud Lake Line.
Officers learned a second vehicle had come across the scene and collided with the vehicle that was on fire.
While speaking with the driver who struck the vehicle police noted the driver had been drinking. The driver was then placed under arrest for further testing.
As a result a 31 year old from Harriston was charged with Impaired Driving, Have Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle with Open Alcohol and Novice Driver BAC Above Zero.
The accused was released from custody with a court date in Goderich on December 13th.
