It was another busy year for the Hanover Fire Department who responded to 256 calls for service, an increase by 38 from 2023.
Of the 256 calls, 214 of them were in Hanover, 20 in Brockton, 19 in West Grey and 3 in other municipalities.
The highest calls, 85 of them were for medical assistance, 51 being for false fire alarm activation.
Rescue calls for crashes, technical rescue and general rescue totaling 17 incidents.
Last year also saw 3 carbon monoxide emergencies where levels were present in homes and businesses, still being the same number from 2023.
