Hanover Police continue to investigate a fatal hit and run from last week.
On June 11th a 2007 Chrysler PT cruiser was involved in the crash which was found destroyed in a fire a few days later on Sideroad 25 north of Morry’s Trailer Sales.
Police are looking to speak to anyone who saw the smoke, the PT cruiser or anyone in the area last Wednesday shortly after the crash between 5:25pm and 6:15pm.
Further officers are also looking to speak with anyone who saw a white male in his early 30’s wearing a dark coloured ball cap who was picked up by a vehicle on Bruce Road 4 near Davis Hill Nursery during the same timeframe.
Police say they have spoken to the registered owner of the PT Cruiser and is cooperating with investigation but this person while being the registered owner never had care and control of the vehicle since it was purchased.
