Hanover Police are following fellow police forces in adopting the CamSafe program.
The program encourages residents, business owners and others to register their surveillance cameras on their properties with police.
The province wide program allows register camera’s to assist police with investigations with timely access to needed information.
Police can check the database in an area of interest to see who has cameras in the area.
To encourage more registers for the CamSafe Program, Hanover Police has partnered with local businesses to have daily draws during Crime Prevention Week from November 6th-12th.
