The Hanover & District Hospital in partnership with the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board and Bluewater District School Board have launched Project Search.
The program is an internationally recognized school-to-work transition program which provides young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with the chance to gain employment skills in the real world environment.
At the Hanover District Hospital, students will have access to a dedicated classroom space in the hospital who are supported by a teacher and skills trainer who will guide them in developing the skill set needed to complete tasks within the hospitals various departments.
