Hanover is getting a boost from the provincial government for a new fire hall.
The funding of $780,331 comes from a $10 million provincial program aimed to boost firefighter training and infrastructure in the province.
The new 15,500 square foot fire hall which will address needs for the fire department.
The new hall will include solar panels in the roof, training spaces, office space and more bays for fire vehicles.
Its expected construction of the new fire hall will be complete by late 2024.
