Pfizers vaccine for COVID-19 has been distributed and administered within the GTA and Ottawa. While a regular rollout is still months away, the vaccine will continue to be distributed to regions with high caseloads.
Hamilton will be the next area to get the vaccine rolled out to the elderly and front line workers. A clinic will be setup and those in line to receive the vaccine will be contacted.
Hamilton has nearly 1000 active cases and 25 outbreaks, including one at Grace Villa Nursing Home with 127 residents and 69 staff members being sick.
