Doctors Tina Williams and Khalid Enver from Groves Memorial Community Hospital have been named the 2022 Rural Specialist Merit Award given at the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada on April 22nd.
The award gives recognition for people or organizations who have made a significant contribution to rural medicine in Canada.
Dr. Sarah Gower says says both Doctors Enver and Williams have built and maintained their community’s general surgery services over the past two decades.
Gower adding both are true rural generalists and bend over backwards to support their rural patients.
